A Leopard died due to electrocution after climbing the electrical pole in Mallaram Forest area of Nizamabad District here on Monday.
The leopard’s body was stuck in high tension wires. The officers cut off power supply and bring downward the carcass. Locals suspect that the leopard came out of the forest in hunt of food and climb on the pole to grab his prey.
