The Shruti Haasan recently, the actor’s weight gain became an excuse for haters to meet again. Shruthi says that, she has no qualms with her body and added that she is proud of her body. She has given an interview with DC, when she was asked about the reports of her facial qualities supposedly going under the knife, she said, ‘what I do with my life and my body is my choice. If people are commenting about me, I feel they are missing something in their life – that’s why they are interested in others’ lives!’
“She was gained weight for her upcoming film ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ ”, social media tweeted. Shruti replied that, “It’s my face, my body. What I do with it is nobody’s business. What people write about me on social media does not bother me. I am not answerable to anyone”. Also she pointed out that actors have to constantly lose and gain weight depending for their roles.
Previously, Shruthi had been played a best role of Malar in the Telugu version of the Malayalam blockbuster Premam. The role was originally played by Sai Pallavi and the Internet seemed singularly irritated that the makers of the Telugu version had picked Shruthi to play it. Shruthi’s film Behan Hogi Teri, in which she starts with Rajkumar Rao, will be released on 9th June and is being directed by Ajay K.Pannalal. Shruthi is also part of Sabaash Naidu, a bilingual in Tamil-Telugu in which she’s acted with her father Kamal Haasan.
