Hyderabad: In a strange case a three-year-old girl has rare medical condition which left her parents and doctors frightened and confused with a mysterious condition that causes her to cry tears of blood and also bleeding from other parts of the body.
The girl Ahana Begum, a 3 year old girl had started bleeding from her nose 20 months ago while doctors put it down to a high fever. But the girl is bleeds from her eyes, ears, mouth, eyes, private parts, womb and other party of her body frequently.
The Rainbow Hospital, Pediatric Oncologist, Dr Sirisha says, Ahana Begum might be having a rare condition called Hematidrosis in which a human being sweats blood and after days of medical care and treatment, the bleeding has reduced to certain extent. The girl needs many transfusions and repeated admissions. One’s physical health is badly affected with this and she is a child. It has not permanently been cured but process is on.”
The father of the girl patient Mohd Afzal, told that my daughter Ahana’s problem started when she had a nose-bleeding and that time she was suffering from pneumonia and when I inquiry the doctors about the girl permanent cure; the doctors unable to answer it. That presently the doctors are taking the support and suggestion from other hospital doctors and they are treating my daughter. The father of girl patient appeals the Central and State Government for helping in her daughter treatment.
