New Delhi: The Hamaid Ansari, the Vice President of India, who was the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha termed from past 10 years, Today is his last day of the Vice Presidential term and the members of the Rajya Sabha thanked him and joined hand to give the farewell to him But the Vice President has commented today that (there is a feeling of unease and a sense of insecurity among Muslims in the country and the atmosphere of acceptance is under threat). Narendra Modi replied that, “we have learnt a lot from you’ and also Modi said he had “great respect” for the outgoing vice president and renowned that he came from a family with a famous history of over 100 years in public life. But a BJP leader reacted that, “It is a political statement and made by someone given the direction for a political job after retirement”. BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayavargiya told that, “”He couldn’t talk like this before but now he is outgoing; in search of a political role he is making such statements that are inappropriate for a person at such a position, we disagree with him”.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that, “Your tenure had many interesting anecdotes. I only remember one of them, when in exasperation you called us a federation of anarchists and rather than take an offence to it, some of us and I was one of the culprits in that – we wanted the chair to set up a precedent of expunging its own remarks. You use that as an opportunity for a democratic debate”.
