The Vijay is one of the Indian film actor, playback singer and goodhearted person who works in the Tamil film industry, recently one of the online Journalist Dhanya Rajendran abused and even supposedly received rape threats from the Vijay’s fans because of tweeting her opinion on a movie that, ‘she recently watched Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release ‘Jab harry met sejal’ that it was even “worse” than Vijay’s ‘sura’ which released seven years ago’, She got many offensive tweets and threats, There have been around 63,000 re -tweets over the past three days and she complained to the police station ,police have booked a case under the Indecent Representation of Women Act among others , caught the two victims in to the custody.
That, After knowing the issue Vijay felt bad and given warning to his fans, later gave a explanation over the issue to the media that “I respect women, I appeal to not hurt sentiments of women on social media, everyone has a freedom to express to criticize anyone’s film”, in my opinion, one should not make undignified comments against a woman for any reason, everyone has to praise womanhood.
