Jaipur: The Lalit Modi who was one of the Former Indian Premier League or IPL chief as a cricket administrator has resigned as the president of the Nagaur District Cricket Association in Rajasthan, In a late night resignation he kept a three-page letter calling for the Rajasthan Cricket Association to be made “best again”, “I feel that the time is now developed to pass on the club to the next generation, today I want to say goodbye to cricket administration for now, he just tweeted in twitter saying that “ he just thanked his fans of cricket that, “I want to take this opportunity 2 thank each & everyone of you for making IPL Huge success”.
Due to 2010 amid allegations of tax avoidance, illegally obtained money from other origins of over 125 crores from assigning broadcast rights of the IPL, Enforcement directorate claimed a report, so Rajasthan has not hosted a single IPL from past 3 seasons and Because of his presence in the Nagaur District Cricket Association, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had banned the Rajasthan Cricket Association and now with his resignation from the Nagaur District Cricket Association, now the ban on Rajasthan cricket has lifted hopefully and funds to the adjust of 100 crores will come back, money much needed for Rajasthan cricket.
