Shankar with A R Rahman Musical, it is an sequel of Robo which was released in past and became a huge success in Telugu and Tamil industry, the combination between Shankar, Rajnikanth was once proven with Robo and wish to continue the same strategy with Robo 2.0 film, it will be released simultaneously in Telugu ,Tamil and Hindi and expected to release worldwide on 25th January 2018.
Recently satellite rights of Robo 2.0 got huge profits in Tamil and Telugu digital rights was taken up by the Global Cinemas (LYCA) productions with a huge amount, Rajamahalingam who is one of the production Head of the LYCA conveyed the message from his twitter, Hindi satellite rights were taken up by the ZEE entertainment Group with 102 crores, first part (Robo) of it was taken up for 32 crores by Zee group last time and this is huge Gross to take the second part for a huge amount, this was the first time to reach a certain mark for a regional movie and this movie may cross the satellite rights of bahubali which was the biggest block buster in Indian cinema.
