Secunderabad: The Secunderabad Railway Police Seized 100 kg of Ganja and arrested three Person including one women, the Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested three persons from Secunderabad Railway Station from Lokamanya express train, the Accused persons were shifting Ganja from Vishakapatnam to Pune in a train on information police conducted checking in the train and seized 100 Kgs Ganja.
The arrested accused person are Bidyasagar Singh 25-year-old native of Orrisa, Muthem Babitha 25-year-old resident of Vishakapatnam and Sunil kumar 20-year-old resident of Vishakapatnam, Babitha and Sunil kumar are brother and sister, the arrested accused women Babitha completed MA Bed and for pursuing higher studies she decided to go for commission by transporting Ganja to fulfill her higher studies expenses.
The Accused persons were started from Vizag to deliver their first consignment of Ganja in Sholapur and they boarded a general compartment on LTT Express, when the train reached Secunderabad the Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested them on Saturday morning.
The total value of the seized Ganja is Rs. 15 lakhs that, on interrogation accused Babitha said that she doesn’t have any connection with Ganja mafia and As per SP Rajenderprasad the main gang involved in transporting of Ganja is from Delhi and Mumbai and the police is in hunt for them and also appealed to the public if anybody having any information and suspect regarding the gang or anybody carrying Ganja with them they can inform to police.
The Arrested accused persons were produced before the Hon’ble magistrate and send them to judicial custody, further investigation is going-on, Police said
