New Delhi: Assam and Bihar struggling with floods due to continues rains till Wednesday, in which many of them lost their life and lakhs of them are affected, nearly 20 lakh have been severely hit in Bihar and second wave of floods had affected over 22 lakh, even rail link to northeast India from the rest of the country has been severely damaged, army has been called to initiate rescue, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised all help to flood –hit states.
The PM Mode visits the Assam to examine the situation of flood prevailing in the entire north east on Tuesday, During his visit, the PM will chair a series of high-level meetings to discuss about the relief operations by which damage caused by the floods in the particular states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur , after his visit a day after he announced Rs 50,000 each for those seriously injured in the floods in the state,2lakhs each for the next of relations for those who lost their lives in the floods in the Assam.
