Hyderabad: Muslims throughout the state of Telangana celebrate Eid- ul-Adha (Bakrid) with religious zeal and devotion on Saturday.
A festival celebrated by Muslims throughout the world is a symbol of sacrifice, complete dedication to God Almighty and compassion for the poor. In his best, the Muslim brothers prayed specially in the Idgah’s and Mosques in the morning and released the best wishes. In the capital city, thousands of Muslims prayed at Mir Alam Idgah, Mecca Masjid, and other places.
The city’s police commissioner visited various places in the old city and monitored the arrangement of the festival. Police have detailed security arrangements in the twin cities of Hyderabad and other places, keeping in view the ongoing festivals, strict security arrangements were made in the city of Hyderabad.
