London: The London Police City’s metro train system is answering an explosion inside London Underground. The explosion took place at Parsons Green Station and some passengers suffered injuries on Friday. The London Police has not provided any details so far and has ensured that their personnel are responding to the security situation at the railway station. Paramedics are also located on the site; Parsons Greens Station is situated between the Fulham Broadway and Putty Bridge on the district line.
The British Prime Minister Theresa May reacted to this incident. The UK PM’s official Twitter Hand tweeted, “My thoughts are with those injured in Parsons Green and Emergency Services, who are bravely responding to this terrorist incident.” In a tweet, the city police force of London said that the anti-terrorist unit is investigating this scene, a man who was on the train, said that “I was on the second train from the back. I just heard one type of sound. I saw that the entire carriage is on fire,”
The British Counterterrorism officials have reached the metro station to investigate the crime scene. The Service has been suspended on the western part of the district line; The London Fire Brigade has also reached the spot. They have two fire rescue units and about 50 firefighters at Parsons Green Station.
The Police vehicles have parked the road near Parsons Green Tube Station. The British police asked people to avoid the area near Parsons Green, “Metropolitan Police Service and British Transport Police Officers are present with the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service”, London Police said in a statement. The Eyewitnesses said that the flames were surrounded in a carriage and ran with a train on the west London route for Parsons Green, causing passengers to crush others due to their departure to leave.
