Hyderabad: The senior Citizen and his family from Miyapur approached the State Human Rights Commission and said that they are facing the threat from Miyapur Police Inspector Harishchandra Reddy.
The victim Boini Komuraiah 70-year-old said that the inspector was threatening to compromise on the issue of pending land between them people and the other party. He claimed that in less than a month, 9 cases were registered against his family members.
The Miyapur police maintain that Komuraiah’s son Venkatesh was recently arrested in a cheating case and is spreading baseless allegations to remove the case.
The victim’s family also sends the petition to Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy. Mr. Reddy sent the petition to Cyberabad police commissioner to confirm the matter and act according to the law.
In the petition, Komuraiah had said that there was an issue with the land that he had been registered by a Venkatesam, but after the death of Venkatesham, his wife begins claiming the said land, which has violated the agreement, But when Mr. Komuraiah’s family contacted the police, a case was registered against his son Venkatesh and he was arrested by police.
We have lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of Police Cyberabad on the fake cases registered against us, but no action has been taken by them,” Komuraiah said before the SHRC in his petition. He said that Venkatesham’s wife is using false cases against him and the inspector is threatening to compromise with his opponents.
The Komuraiah’s son Venkatesh was arrested in the case of cheating, but his family members tried to influence the investigation, and when they did not succeed, they made false allegations. The facts will be revealed by a proper investigation, Miyapur Inspector of Polices said.
