Vemulawada: In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife by slitting her throat and attempted suicide by slitting his throat with knife. The incident occurred in the Narsingapur village in Karimnagar district on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the police, the deceased, who was identified as Vasantha 25-year-old, was waiting for a vehicle to go to her mother’s house in Vemulawada.
Meanwhile, her husband Balaraju 30-year-old waylaid and attacked her with a knife, slit her throat. As the bystanders and commuters were watching the incident in a state of shock, the accused Balaraju immediately attempted suicide by slitting his throat.
The deceased body shifted to the hospital for postmortem, Police Registered the case and investigating the matter.
