Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police on Wednesday busted another marriage racket and arrested 20 Accused Persons, including eight Shaik from Saudi Arab, Oman and Qatar along with four clerics on accusation of cheating innocent girls in the name of marriage.
The Hyderabad City police have arrested four lodge owners and five brokers in the Old City for their alleged involvement in the Marriage Racket.
According to the police, Arab Sheikh’s married two minor girls from Falaknuma and Chandrayaangutta on contract basis.
Earlier, Mumbai’s Chief Qazi Fareed Ahmed Khan was detained after police investigated on Monday, which revealed that he was involved in providing marriage certificate for a minor girl, which had helped Omani Sheikh to get a Visa.
In Hyderabad, many wedding rackets have been exposed by the City police, The Accused allegedly provide money to the girl’s parents and motivates them to marry Sheiks on contract basis.
