Thane: The Thane court sent the Iqbal Kaskar brother of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and two other accused in police custody for four days in the extortion racket case.
The Police are interrogating Kaskar, after the arrest in connection with the Extortion case last week.
During the interrogation of the Intelligence Bureau, Kaskar confirmed that his brother Dawood Ibrahim wanted in many cases, including 1993 Mumbai blasts case and he is in Pakistan. He also said that for fear of tapping, Dawood is careful about calling his people in India on their relatives or phones.
The Accused Kaskar also informed that Mehzabeen, wife of absconding gangster Dawood, went to Dubai from Pakistan to meet his family in the year 2016.
The accused Kaskar was taken into custody from his sister Haseena Parkar’s house on the night of 18th September, The Pradeep Sharma, encounter specialist and senior inspector of Anti-Extortion Cell team arrested him.
