Thiruvananthapuram: The Actor Dileep, who came to jail in Kerala’s Kochi in connection with the kidnapping of an actress and sexual harassment in the month of February, have offered Rs. 30 million to the abductors were told by the High Court.
The prosecution informs the court that actor Dileep had offered the prime accused Pulsar Suni, Rs. 15 Million for kidnapping and if caught by the police, then the amount will be doubled.
The 49-year-old actor was arrested in July and was accused of rape, criminal conspiracy and imprisonment improperly. The actress along with the co-starred Dileep was forcefully restrained in her vehicle when the actress was travelling from Thrissur to Kochi and driven approximately for two hours and the actress was sexually assaulted by at least four accused persons who also recorded the wrong act on the mobile phone.
The High Court hears the bail application of Dileep for the third time. The lower court had barred him twice from bail.
In order to record the statement of popular singer, TV and filmmaker Rimi Tomy in front of a magistrate, the prosecution gets permission from the court today.
