Bengaluru: In the past few weeks, Bengaluru has been demolished by heavy rains. That, after a day, four people died in pothole related accidents on Friday, five people died in rain related incidents in the city.
That, on the evening of Friday, heavy rain, especially in the west and southwestern parts of the city, caused serious rage and traffic jams on the road. In a video on social media, a woman who was trapped in a car on a waterlogged road was saved dramatically by the people, yet the car started to swim in the waist-deep water. The top of the car was almost submerged, when the viewer saw the women in the car, shout for help. Four people jumped into the water and saved the woman.The incident took place near Nayandahalli Circle on Mysuru Road on Friday night.
Even this was happening, some kilometers away from there, a priest, Vasudev Bhat, was washed in a storm water drain during the rain, this incident happened in the Kurubrahalli area of the city. After a long search, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and emergency service personnel recovered the body from the exit this morning.
In the second case, a woman and her daughter, Nangamma and Pushpa have also disappeared from the evening and residents have suspected that they could wash in a nearby drain in Kurubrahalli.
After a wall collapsed in an old house in the same part of the city, these incidents were reported for a few hours. They have been identified as Shankarappa and Kamalamma, both of them are in their forties.
The Fire and emergency officials continued the search operation, while the Chief Minister told the administration that they should issue compensation of rupees. 5 Lakhs for the families of the victims
