Ejipura: The Three-year-old Sanjana, who survived in the building collapse that killed her parents in Bengaluru on Monday, October 16, died a few days later due to multiple organ failures on the day of Diwali.
That, On Monday, October 16, after the search operations started for people stranded in a debris of a collapsed building in Ejipura, Bengaluru, the Sanjana and her family living on the ground floor of the building, the family of Sanjana were crushed under the rubble of the building which had crashed down.
However, around 10.30 am, three rescue workers who were digging through the rubble could see the hand with dust-covered scars. There was no miracle for the rescue workers to drag Sanjana out of the wreck, without any serious injury.
The rescue worker recovered the body of his mother, Ashwini, 28, who was seven months pregnant. The Sanjana’s father Sharvana’s 31 years body was recovered from under the debris.
The Ashwini’s Aunty, Kalwati said that she had spoken to her on Sunday, October 15 and Ashwini was planning to meet her parents this week, they had returned from temple yesterday, when we met them, even Sanjana and they were playing with us.” The policeman who took the little girl was very difficult to see, “she said.
