New Delhi: The Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who was on a trip to Shimla, was rushed to the National Capital on Friday and after been complaining of stomach upset, she was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
The Hospital President (Board of Management) DS Rana said that the 70-year-old Gandhi is under observation.
In a statement, Rana said, “Sonia Gandhi was taken to the hospital at 5.00 in the evening on Friday; she was suffering from stomach upset and has been admitted for observation.”
According to sources, Gandhi was taken to Shimla hospital in an air ambulance, where she went for a vacation.
A team of doctors from the hospital was appointed to bring back from Shimla. The Party sources said that her condition is stable.
