Hyderabad: The Anumula Revanth Reddy came out of Telugu Desam (TDP) party and Kodangal assembly seat On Saturday. The Congress sources confirmed that Mr. Ravanth Reddy formally, joining the party in the presence of AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi in the first week of November. With his resignation from the assembly, TDP has been left with two MLAs in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly.
Mr. Revanth Reddy at the end of the meeting of Telangana State, TDP leaders in Amravati and the party president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu demanded an appointment to meet separately. Mr. Naidu asked him to wait until the media conference was completed.
Mr. Revath Reddy told him that he left the party and handed over his resignation letter to the TDP office secretary and MLC TD Janarhdan Rao. In his three pages issued to the media, Mr. Revanth Reddy did not make a single word against anyone in the party. He thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for all his help, support and encouragement.
The two-term Kodangal MLA said that to move K. Chandrasekhar Rao government and to free the state from the clutches of KCR and his family, there was a need to create a comprehensive political front, As the reason for leaving the party.
He said that Telangana state was facing a serious crisis under Chandrashekhar Rao government. He thanked Mr. Naidu for standing behind him and his family members in his hour of crisis. That Mr. Reddy also attached his resignation letter dated 27th October, addressing the President of Telangana assembly in the prescribed format in the rules of the Assembly.
