Eluru: In a shocking incident, a four-year-old child accidentally died after swallowing rubber toy, which was inside a Chips packet in Kumanirevu area of Eluru town in West Godavari district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Meesala Nirakshana Kumar, 4-year-old, LKG student in a private school. According to hospital sources, this incident took place in the morning when Kumar was asked to buy two milk packets by his father Lakshman Rao. Kumar went to the shop and with milk packets; he bought a pack of Diamond Rings chips. Inside the chips packet, a rubber toy depicting a movie character of ‘Emoji’ was kept for free.
After reaching home, he began consuming circular chips and assumed that rubber toys were consumable and swallowed it. Within seconds, Kumar was suffocating and laughing for breath and immediately his parents took him to Eluru Government General Hospital for treatment. Upon reaching the hospital, the doctors examined their pulse and declared the boy is brought dead.
The Laxman Rao and his family broke down at the sight of their deceased son because the sad scenes are strong. Officials examined his body and took toys from his mouth. The Laxman Rao, a businessman has two sons and Kumar was the youngest.
