Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh police arrested four persons on Friday, who gang-raped a 19-year-old Indian Administrative Service (IAS) aspirant in Bhopal for nearly three hours on Tuesday night, Talking to the media, Bhopal IGP (IGP Law and Order) Makrand Deuskar said, “The three accused have been arrested and presented before the court. The fourth accused is absconding and a search is going on for him. “

That the victim girl was returning home from the coaching class in Maharana Pratap Nagar on Tuesday night when she was gang raped. The incident occurred near the Habibganj railway station in Bhopal, near the police post.
The Government railway police official said that the two accused allegedly took the girl under a cesspool near the railway tracks. They allegedly tied her up and rape her. Later on, one of the accused brought two more persons, who even raped her.
That, All the four accused have been identified as Golu Bihari, Amar Chhantu, Rajesh and Ramesh, The police registered a case under Section 376D IPC (gang rape) of the Indian Penal Code and 34 (acts done by many persons in pursuing common intentions).

Explaining the examination, the mother said that she had gone to the MP Nagar police station before, where SI RN Tekam had filed a complaint and she visited the crime scene, but later claimed that it does not fall under her jurisdiction and told them to go to Habibganj Police station.
They were able to register a complaint because the victims identified two accused going through the Habibganj police station. They succeeded in catching them after the clashes and took both of them to the police station.
The family pointed to Habibganj police station, where senior officials instructed the police to file a primary complaint after the two accused were handed over. Then the parents were instructed to go to the Government Railway Police (GRP) because this incident happened in their jurisdiction.
At GRP station, an official accused them of cooking up the story. “SHO GRP Mohit Saxena and SI Uikey misbehaved us and said they will not register any case. SI Uikey said that we were doing a ‘false complaint’,” Mother said.
The Station House Officer, Government railway police Mohit Saxena was suspended on Friday for allegedly misbehaving during the filing of the complaint, the Bhupendra, Habibganj SHO, and Sanjay Singh, Maharana Pratap Nagar SHO were also suspended on Friday, and Maharana Pratap Nagar CSP was removed from the post.
The National Women’s Commission (NCW) wrote a letter to DGP Madhya Pradesh on Friday and demanded strict and appropriate action against the perpetrators. The NCW asked DGP to take action against the concerned Police Officers of Madhya Pradesh, who refused to file a complaint and requested that to give information about the details of the matter with immediate action by Fax or email.
