New Delhi: The Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the economic situation of the country and said that he would wait to see the day when the Chinese youth use mobile phones made in India to click selfies. At the same time, including the Punjab and Karnataka, the finance ministers of Congress ruled states in the country have a major restructuring of existing goods and service tax to help save small scale industries and the informal sector.
In a rally in Himachal Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi said that he wants to see the day when the young people of China take selfies with ‘Made in India’ and ‘Made in Himachal Pradesh’ phones. The Rahul Gandhi said that the China employs 50,000 youth daily, while the Indian Prime Minister is only able to provide employment to 450 people.

The Congress vice-president alleged that the Prime Minister had accused the people of silence on the cases of Vyamam scam and other corruption.
He said, “Modi has never spoken to Narayan Rane, in Badals (in Punjab) or Anurag Thakur’s Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association,” he said at a rally in Chamba.
Prime Minister attacked the Congress on Sunday during an election campaign in Himachal Pradesh and said that Congress and corruption cannot be different from each other. Himachal Pradesh runs election on 9th November.
In Delhi, the Finance Ministers of Congress-ruled states said that GST, which is considered one of the biggest reforms since Independence, has proved to be quite disappointing.
