Andheri: The International School Trustee Held For Sexually Assaulting a 3-year-old Girl child Student that, Five months after the alleged sexual assault on a three-year-old girl in the School premises, the accused 57-year-old French national was arrested by police, who is a trustee of a famous school in suburban Andheri.
The accused Brillant Patrcik Mauris was arrested after the intervention of the Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MSCPR), Five months after the case was filed against him in the Police Station. The accused was presented in a court, which sent him to police custody till 15 November. A police officer said.
The Mauris is the trustee of the international school in Andheri, he said, the woman class teacher of the minor girl helped the accused in crime and the women teacher made a co-accused in the case.
The victim’s lawyer S. Balakrishnan said that the accused was registered under section 376 (punishment for rape) and under the protection of children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act on 18th May.
Since the police did not take any action, we have filed an application before the MSCPRR. After studying the matter, the commission said that it was an appropriate case for the arrest and instructed the police to take necessary action, S. Balakrishnan, the lawyer said. The Balakrishnan alleged that a minor girl was sexually exploited on many occasions with the help of a female class teacher.
