Nashik: A farmer, died due to suspected food poisoning and 69 others were admitted to hospitals, after they had meal in a seminar organized by the Pesticide Producer Company near Nashik in Maharashtra, a health official said. He said that the condition of three farmers is serious.
This incident took place in Umarle village of Nashik district, where a private company organized a seminar on tomato crops for farmers.
At least 70 farmers complained of vomiting and dizziness, after eating food after the program.
