Alwar district. The Rajasthan Home Minister said on Monday that police arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a Muslim man allegedly by cow vigilantes in Alwar district. The Ummar Khan and two others, Tahir Mohammad and Tahir Khan were carrying cows from Mewat in Haryana to Bharatpur of Rajasthan, when they were killed by a mob and who attacked them.
The deceased Ummar 32-year-old died of a bullet wound. His body was found on the railway track about 12 km from Ramgarh Police Station. Two others got minor injuries and fled from the scene. That the victim Muhammad is being treated at a hospital in Haryana.
The Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria said that five cows, including a dead one, were very fond of the vehicle. “Later, a body was found, which was claimed by a family that it was a family member. The Kataria said that the police registered a case in this connection on Sunday and arrested a suspect and said that other criminals would also be arrested soon.
The minister said that we do not have enough manpower to control every situation in all cities in time. “It is not yet known what is the matter. We are sure that the matter will be resolved soon and the culprit will be punished,” he said.
The deceased Sher Mohammed, president of Meo Panchayat of Alwar, alleged that Ummar was killed by cow vigilantes, who threw his body before a moving train after shooting him. The Jamait-Ul- Rajasthan vice-president Maulana Haneef said that the body was distorted to remove evidence. The members of the family recognized Ummar with the help of his Slippers.
