Mumbai: The Robbers digs tunnel to rob bank Lockers In the Juinagar branch of Bank of Baroda, about 30 lockers were broken into over the weekend by robbers, who dug the tunnel into the bank from an adjacent shop. The robbery was detected on Monday morning only when the bank resumed work after the weekend.
The first tunnel found to have a circumference of about 3 feet and from shop to ground it was about 5 feet. After this, a horizontal tunnel of about 30 feet stood in the bank locker room with the height of four and a half feet, which was connected to another tunnel. A 40-ft long tunnel was dug by the accused persons.
The Police said, “We have got clues about the accused and our team is working on them.” About 10 teams are working on this matter. In the first case of Kamothe and Nerul, the accused was arrested, these accused have used the same type of proceedings and can be linked to them.”Police said
