New Delhi: A classmate allegedly sexually assaulted a four-year-old girl in the premises of the Maxfort School in Dwarka, Delhi.
The Police complaint lodges by the victim’s parents, the victim girl had complained of pain in her private parts after returning from school last Friday and her silence on the assault broke-out the next day. That, as per the parents the victim narrated the entire incident, which occurred during school hours, in which a boy in her classroom opened her pants and placed his finger inside his private parts on multiple occasion. The girl tried to push him, but there was no benefit, and could not ask for help because no staff member was available around.
Accusing the school management laxity, the parents have alleged that a school teacher and school coordinator, being told about this incident, got stuck in ignorance and did not provide any solid support. The school principal also did not provide any relief, and refused to disclose the details of the accused students.
The doctors examined the victim and after confirming the case of sexual harassment, the parents filed a complaint in the Dwarka police station. The police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
