Hyderabad: The Hon’ble Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed his happiness and satisfaction over the successful organization of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2017, inaugural of the Hyderabad Metro Rail and other programmes. The CM congratulated Chief Secretary SP Singh, DGP M Mahender Reddy, Civil and Police administration. The CM said all the departments concerned have worked in coordination and helped the successful organization of the events. The CM felt that after the successful of GES, the prestige of Hyderabad had been enhanced worldwide.
CM appreciates the police; The Chief Minister KCR has special thanks to the police department, which organized the events without any technical hitch and causing even the smallest discomfort to the visiting dignitaries from the country and abroad. The Police has maintained high quality standards with a lot of correctness. The Chief Minister said he had received a message from the Centre praising the police. The Chief Minister KCR appreciated that the police were able to provide excellent security to Prime Minister Modi, The US President’s Advisor Ms. Ivanka Trump, former UK PM’s wife Ms Cherry Blair and delegates from 150 countries. The Chief Minister KCR is also highly appreciable the way the police managed the events like Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017, The Metro Rail Inauguration and eight more different important programmes as well as providing security to the VVIP’s during their visits on the same day. This Event has increased the prestige of the Telangana state. The team spirit, excellent cooperation, the Telangana police has helped the successful conduct of the first ever mega-event in the State of Telangana, the Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao said.
The Chief Minister said that the Telangana police has won the appreciation of the US Secret Agency, the Union Home Ministry, Niti Aayog and delegates from abroad who attended the event for the professional and efficient way that they have handled a host of programmes attended by the VVIP’s on a single day at various locations without any difficulty. Since the US President’s daughter and Advisor Ms. Ivanka Trump attended the event, the US Secret service has directly involved in the security arrangements. The Union Home Ministry also kept a tab on the events due to the visit of the Prime Minister and other Union Minister’s. Intelligence department, Gray Hounds, SIB and other departments have chalked out the plans and there were coordinated by the Hyderabad City Police and executed in a very proficient way On a single day events were organized at Madhapur HICC, Miyapur Metro station, Falaknama Palace, Golconda Fort, Shamshabad Airport and Begumpet Airports, Trident Hotel. The VIP aircrafts handling, three Military Choppers flying around took place. In the history of Hyderabad City such a thing never happened. That, in spite of all this, the Hyderabad city police has equipped the plans in advance and carry out in such a way that nothing went wrong and there was not even a traffic-jam on the Road. The foreign Delegates from the 150 countries came and they were given the Identity cards after their arrival. That, Every visiting delegate is treated well and ensured that he/she attended the conference and went back to the hotel. The Security arrangements were made in such way that no guest is subject to the inconvenience under the alleged reason of security checks. The DGP Mahender Reddy is also appreciated for organizing and coordinating such a big event within a short span of time after becoming the New DGP.
IVANKA‘S VISIT KEPT SECRET; The entire visit of Ms. Ivanka was kept as a secret. The US Secret Service shared the details of her movements with the local police at the very last moment. Previously, they said that Ms. Ivanka will fly in by a special jet, but the Ms. Ivanka came on a common passenger flight. They maintained that Ms. Ivanka will stay at the Westin but she stayed at the Trident. They kept secret about a Ms. Ivanka visit to Golconda Fort. The Telangana police also were fully prepared with the Plan A and B in tune with the US Secret service. They have responded to the last minute changes in the programmes. This is precisely the reason why the US Secret Service officials have congratulated DGP Mahender Reddy while they were leaving the Hyderabad city.
