New Delhi: The Two bike-borne miscreants snatched the mobile of Eenam Gambhir, the First Secretary in the permanent mission of India for the United Nations on Monday, Police said.
The incident took place on Saturday when Gambhir accompanied by her mother had gone for a walk in Rohini.
The police said that the accused snatched the iPhone from her on the pretext of asking the directions. Since it was evening, she could not note the registration number of the vehicle, Police said.
The Gambhir In his complaint said that the accused asked her for directions to Hanuman temple. When she started pointing to the temple holding her phone, the accused person snatched the phone and fled, the police said.
The Gambhir said that the iPhone had some important files related to work and a US-registered SIM card, they added.
