Betul: The 19-year-old tribal woman allegedly committed suicide after being raped by two persons in Betul district, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, the police said.
The deceased women’s body was found hanging from the roof of his house in Bodal pather village, about 40 kilometers away from the district headquarters. In the morning, the deceased woman left a suicide note in which she named the two men, who raped her on Sunday night 31st December, the officer said.
“We have arrested Baldev Dhurv and Rajesh Kakodiya on the basis of suicide note,” said Silale.
The Superintendent of Police Dr. Taniwar said that according to the suicide note, the accused raped the woman in an area when she stepped out of her home to relieve herself, the police registered the case and further investigating is going-on, the officer said.
