Kochi: The online sex racket busted by the Police, the Sex racket allegedly being operated from a lodge in Kochi, the police has arrested 14 persons including its kingpin, a woman from Delhi, the police said.
The Police officials said that they closely monitored some websites, through which the alleged arrangements were being made to get involved in such illegal activities.
The police raided on the lodge on Friday and 14 persons were arrested, police said.
In addition to the sex racket, the kingpin along with five women, four transgender, three clients and the lodge manager were arrested, the police said.
The sex racket was being run with the support of the Lodge Manager, they said, all the arrested persons have been booked for human trafficking
