That, clearly, cyber attacks are not a new strategy for terrorists in Pakistan, and government officials are the main targets. In the year 2016, a total of 199 government websites were hacked in India, the Home Ministry (MHA) told Parliament. In fact, more than 700 websites have been hacked from 2013 to 2016 under the Government of India.
In January 2017, the website of the National Security Guard (NSG) was hacked to create an unprecedented threat to national security, the Indian Special Forces Unit, which fought terrorist activities.
However, the website was immediately blocked by the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT.IN). As technology has progressed, there is a strategy of terrorist attacks and cyber warfare on the battlefield to break national security.
