New Delhi: A shocking video has surfaced in which a Dalit youth is beaten with sticks by three Hindu Yuva Vahani workers, they abuses, beat him up, made video and forced to chant “Jai Mata Di” in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
This incident took place in Purkazi of Muzaffarnagar. The Four persons, who allegedly belonged to the Hindu Yuva Vahani group, claimed that the victim, identified as Vipin Kumar, insulted the gods and goddesses. The victim Kumar 22-year-old was later admitted to the hospital with several injuries.
The Uttar Pradesh Police has registered a case under Section 307 of the IPC and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and started a manhunt.
The video clip of the attack went viral on the social media. It shows a man who is wearing a black helmet who is lying on the ground and is beating by at least three persons. The fourth person recorded the video of the incident. Meanwhile, Shahid Udham Singh Sena threatened to launch an agitation today, if the Uttar Pradesh Police did not arrest the accused till 17th January. A case was registered against accused persons Rahul, Dhiraj, Jodha and Kaku, the accused persons are still absconding, police investigating the matter.
