Hyderabad: The Commissioner for Civil Supplies, Vice Chairman and Managing Director for Civil Supplies Corporation C.V. Anand directed Civil Supplies officials to compulsorily enter day to day financial transactions in Financial Management System (FMS) which allows officials view transaction online all together at one place.
We introduced FMS software, so that officials can view every single transaction, but some of the members are not helping this cause, as they are not entering the details which are very unpleasant. If these situations continue we will not hesitate to suspend the concerned officials.
The Commissioner Anand held review meeting with District Managers, Assistant Managers on Tuesday, at Civil Supplies Bhavan. They discussed about finance, internal audit, MLS points, LPG, Reconciliation at Petrol Bunks, PDS, Marketing and on Rabi Action Plan.
The Commissioner said that, district officials should spend any amount without permission from Head Office, but it came in light that some of the officials are behaving against this order. He warned that this type of dealings will not be entertained. Strict action would be taken against them.
For purchasing furniture or any other item, appointing Out Sourcing employees permission from Head Office is compulsory. District offices should cut short their expenses.
As the district range has decreased to large extent focus on special checks, accounts, transport and godowns should be more intense, where as it is not coming into practice. From now onwards every district manager should make special checks at MLS points, Buffer godowns. Godown reconciliation should be immediately completed.
Every month this type of meetings will be conducted with District Managers, Assistant Managers (Technical) and DCSO’s.
If necessary only funds should to taken from Head Office, taking funds unnecessarily and parking them in banks will levy heave financial burden on Department, each and every officer should keep this in mind.
