Hyderabad: The Honorable Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to organize eye camps all over the state on a large scale and provide free of cost glasses to the needy. In a meeting at Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday evening attended by Chief Advisor, Ministers, MPs, Advisor GR Reddy, CS, Principal Secretary Finance and other CMO officials that since there is a severe problem of eyes among the rural poor, this decision has been taken. The CM desired that all the Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and other elected representatives should monitor and supervise as well as participate in these eye camps and make it a big success. The CM suggested that besides the eye specialists in the state if need be, services of eye specialists from other states should be sought in.
