Hyderabad: A group of Muslim youth from Hyderabad Old City filed a Criminal complaint against the internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier and also the makers of the song ‘Manikya Malaraya Poovi’ from ‘Oru Adaar Love’ for allegedly hurting the sentiments of Muslims on Wednesday at Falaknuma Police Station.
The Asst Commissioner of Police, Falaknuma Syed Faiyaz said a case was registered in case in Cr.No.34/18 U/S 295 A, IPC. The Complainant Mr.Mukheet 20-years-old, Resident of Farooq Nagar Falaknuma filed a complaint against The Accused person Director of Malayalam Movie (ORU ADHAAR LOVE)-UMAR LULU. For hurting the sentiments of Muslims as One song lyrics consisting of Love story of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and his wife BIBI Khateeza in the Holy City of Mecca. The Falaknuma Police meticulously investigating the case. Appropriate action is being taken against concerned as per facts and Law immediately.
