Hyderabad: The government has extended the last date for regularizing unauthorized layouts by another one month upto the end of March 31st 2018. Principal Secretary Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar issued orders to this effect on Wednesday.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, Kakatiya Urban Development Authority and other urban local bodies have processed the pending LRS applications on priority basis and scrutinized large number of applications and issued intimations to applications for payment of balance LRS charges and submission of shortfall documents. With more and more applicants coming forward to comply with the guidelines, it was felt that some more time is required to dispose the pending applications. Therefore, the government has decided to extend the time limit upto 31-3-2018 for disposal of pending LRS applications.
