Hyderabad: The Sleuths of Hyderabad City Police consisting of South, East Zones Task Force and Charminar Police nabbed a notorious interstate dacoity gang leader Amjad Khwaja Ameen Shaik @ Amja aged about 41 years of Thane, Mumbai and seized 6 lakhs worth gold and other gems connected to the Petlaburz Dacoity Case occurred in the first week of this month.
The ten member gang committed dacoity of 3.5 Kgs Gold and other ornaments on the point of knives by wearing masks in one Nithai Das Gold ornaments making unit which is being there since December 2015. In a broad day light that too in the heart of old city this daocity happened and became sensational.
The Hyderabad City Police deputed five teams including two Task Force team to nab the remaining accused persons to recover the booty. The Police did not disclose all the details related to this dacoity because of other dacoity members need to be arrest very soon, Commissioner of Police said.
