New Delhi: Two people arrested in the CBSE paper leak case Rishabh and Rohit wanted to help their friend for a few thousand rupees commit a crime, a police officer said on Sunday.
According to the police, Rishabh, Rohit and Tauqeer knew each other for the last five years. In this case, the third accused, Tauqeer had asked the other two to help him in getting the CBSE Class XII economics paper for his student. The investigating officer said that the crime was done for a few thousand rupees.
Police said that the applicants have been given the papers at 9.45 pm on the examinations and they are allowed to open immediately. The exam starts at 10.30
Conversely, officials of the school (Mother Khajani Convent School) had allegedly given the question paper to the teachers at 9.10 Am, in which two accused Rohit and Rishab were given enough time to click pictures and send them to Tauqeer, Who circulated them to the students. We are also investigating that all three were involved in leaking more papers this year or last year.
The Rishabh teaches physics at the Khajani Convent School. He completed his BTech from Punjab Technical University in 2013 and then did his BEd. Rohit is a mathematical teacher in the same school. He had done BSc from Bahadurgarh in Haryana, while Tauqeer teaches economics at a private tuition center. Police said that the three had apparently faced conspiracies for two weeks.
