Hyderabad: The government school turns into Gaushala, A day after the angry teachers and students protested against a gaushala being set up inside the government primary school in Lalitabagh, the authorities ordered a probe into the matter.
The protesters had complained that the poor students from the Arundhati Colony locality were at the receiving end of the indifference of authorities.
The school was shifted to Chatrimet school building with an assurance that it would be shift back to its old location of the school. That, on 21st January the school was vacated. But when the government school headmaster Padmalata returned to the school and found that a Gaushala has been set up inside the school government premises. The foul smell was so bad that it compelled us to leave our classroom and sit outside the school at road side, she said
The government primary school in Lalitabagh was inaugurated in the year 1998 and all the related documents submitted to the concerned officials.
