Mumbai: In another bizarre incident of Rape, A seven-year-old girl alleged sexually assaulted by a man in Parbhani district of Maharashtra. The accused person was arrested after Five days after the crime on Wednesday, when he was trying to flee Parbhani located in the 490 km from Mumbai in Marathwada area.
The incident took place on April 13 in a village near Selu town when the victim went to play in the house with the accused’s younger sister, a police officer said.
When the accused’s sister went out to do some work and no other family member was at home, he called the girl in a room on the pretext of watching the TV and allegedly raped her. As soon as the girl started crying, she left her in her house and left, the officer said.
This incident came to light when the victim’s parents took her to the doctor, they then approached the police and filed a complaint, Police said.
After learning about the police case against the accused, the accused escaped from his residence. The police arrested the accused from Parbhani bus depot, Police said.
