A high-profile team represented by E. Venkataiah, Advisor to Government of Karnataka, Social Welfare and Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) visited TSWR School Gowlidoddi on Wednesday. The team members said that both the government and the corporate educational institutions in the country must learn and emulate the innovative student empowerment programmes being launched by the Social Welfare Residential Educational Society (TSWREIS)
“We often observe students from poor marginalized background struggling to communicate in English. But, to my astonishment, the TSWREIS students broke this stereotypical image with their extra-ordinary English communication and debating skills, said V. Doddappa, Executive Director of KREIS. The members were all praise for the efforts of the government in imparting quality education in English medium in government run residential schools.
The Secretary, Dr. RS Praveen Kumar said, we are delighted that the team from Karnataka chose to visit our school, while thanking the Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntl Chandrasekhar Rao and G.Jagadish Reddy for their vision and commitment for educational progress of poor children under the “KG-PG Mission”.
