The forest range office, Indalwai said Today i.e. on 11.5.2018 at 6.15 AM received a phone call that, a Leopard has been hit by an unknown vehicle on National Highway 44 near Devithanda of Gannaram Village limits. Immediately, Forest Range officer, Indalwai along with staff rushed to the spot and found that a female Leopard of age 3-4 years was found dead on left side lane of NH 44 (i.e. which leads to Hyderabad). After conducting the spot panchanama the Carcass has been shifted to the Thirmanpally Central Nursery to conduct the Postmortem. And the Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, Indalwai has been requested to conduct the Postmortem.
A group doctor’s lead by Dr. Babu Rao, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon and Dr. Rakesh Veterinary Assistant Surgeon has conducted the postmortem. After the postmortem the carcass was burnt in presence of District Forest Officer, Nizamabad, Forest Divisional Officer, Nizamabad and Forest Range Officer, Indalwai and under cover of panchanama.
