The Climate change has emerged a major challenge to development in recent years. In order to enhance the quality of climate change reporting in media, the Centre for Media Studies (CMS), New Delhi, in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and GIZ (German Corporation for International Cooperation), is organizing a series of state-level media workshops. This initiative is aimed at orienting journalists on climate change adaptation as well as local and state level initiatives, with interactive presentations by several experts in addition to field visits.
The state-level media workshop in Telangana will be held in Mahabubnagar, at Zila Parishad Hall, Collectorate Office from May 22-24, 2018. The agenda for the workshop is attached.
Environment Protection, Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) will be the partner for this state-level media workshop.
