The state agencies have procured following agriculture commodities under minimum support price under state pool during 2017-18 to avoid distress sale by the farmers of the state, As per the instruction of the Telangana Government

A meeting was conducted today at Secretariat by the Principal Secretary, Agriculture & Cooperation Department with Director of Marketing, GM, TS Markfed, MD HACA, SWC and taken following decision,
1. The Committee is appointed for Disposal of Rabi Maize, Bengal gram, Black gram and Jowar.
2. The Disposal committee shall meet on every Thursday to discuss on the status of the tenders floated and action to be taken for disposal of the balance stocks basing on the prevailing market rates.
3. All the online platforms available shall be utilized for efficient and speedy disposal of the agriculture commodities like NCDEX, agribazaar, MSTC etc.,.
4. All the commodities shall be disposed before commencement of the ensuing season.
