The Govt of Telangana is keen to promote tourism in the state and make Hyderabad as a recreational and tourism hub. Previously HMDA has planned eco-tourism Park at Kothwalguda village of Gandipet Mandal. The K.Taraka Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister of MA & UD has held talks with Bernard Harrison Principal partner, Creativity and Design, Bernand Harrison & Friends Ltd. and Alexandar Stingal, General Manager, Business Operation, Bernard Harssion & Friends Ltd., Singapore. Previously Bernard Horrison was associated with developing night safari park in 40 hectares in Singapore. It is now a world famous tourist attraction. Now Govt., of Telangana wants to develop similar night Safary Park at Kothwalguda in 50 hectares. The Minister wanted them to be associated with developing designs for this night safari park and make it a unique one in the country. The proposed site is strategically located on the one side ORR and the other side Himayathsagar. Minister stated Hyderabad is developing rapidly and requires space for recreation and entertainment. This park is going to be a jewel in the crown of Hyderabad. Designs are already under preparation for GANDIPET lake development. Both of this parks are going to add value to the city and city is going to become a holiday cum tourist destination in the country. In the meeting Bonthu Rammohan, Mayor, GHMC, Arvind Kumar, Principal Secy, MA & UD, T.Chiranjeevulu, Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, B.L.N.Reddy, C.E., HMDA Participated. Later the representatives visited the site and expressed the satisfaction over the site. Minister wanted the concept and designs should be ready by September end and make it a more attractive, financially viable & affordable recreational project.
