The historic Hussainsagar is going to get a major facelift with the government focussing to develop it into a tourist attraction. The Principal Secretary MAUD Arvind Kumar along with a team of officials and project consultants today morning went round the Hussainsagar and discussed steps to be taken towards beautification of the lake. He asked the officials to firm up plans to ensure that all the works are completed by this December. He suggested that improvements should include better upkeep of the existing amenities, ensuring greenery, broadwalk, walking paths throughout the lake and LED lighting.
