The Three day Vaccination Programme for the selected Haj pilgrims belonging to Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts was inaugurated today at Haj House Nampally, Hyderabad by the Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mahmood Ali. He lauded the services of the Haj committee for providing facilities to the Haj pilgrims and assured that there would be no problem to the pilgrims and the State government would leave no stone unturned in this direction. He further said that funds would not be any problem for the welfare of the Haj pilgrims, the State government has sanctioned Rs. 4.00 crores for the Haj committee and if need arises more funds would be released.
The Bandaru Dattatreya, M.P said that women are getting more facilities and also got the opportunity to undertake Haj Journey without male companion. The Chairman State Waqf Board said that more facilities would be provided to the Haj pilgrims. Mr. Mohammed Masiullah Khan, chairman Telangana State Haj committee said that he would strive to provide facilities to the pilgrims and their relatives who come to send them off. In view of the rainy season accommodation would be provided to the relatives of the pilgrims in adjacent function Hall and free Wi-fi facility would be provided during Haj Season on his own expenses.
The Special Officer State Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor said that vaccination programme would continue for three days with the cooperation of the Director Institute of Preventive Medicine, District Medical and Health Officer and the Princess Esra Hospital.
The Members of the Haj Committee, Mr. Mohammed Farooq Hussain, MLC, Mr. Mohammed Arif Ahmed, Mr. Mohammed Shafi, Mr. Arifuddin, Dr. Akheel Hashmi and Mr. Abu Talha Amjad besides Ms. Mamta Gupta Corporator and Mr. Irfan Shareef Asst. Secretary Haj committee were also present on this occasion.
