The Telangana Foods dispatched 100 Metric Tonnes of Balamrutham (a nutritious food manufactured by Telangana Foods, Nacharam for children) costing Rs.52.5 Lakh free of cost to the State of Kerala to feed the flood-stranded children of Kerala. The food was airlifted by 2 Defence Aircrafts (C17 Global Master) from Begumpet Airport today. The food is expected to provide supplementary nutrition to about 50,000 children for 10 days.
